Fundraising makes what we do possible.
The ADAA operates without government funding and relies solely on volunteers, donations and fundraising efforts to continue providing assessments, support to teams, and education to service providers. Join us in May 2024 as we launch a nationwide event to make a difference to the lives of individuals who have owner trained their own assistance dogs!

Join us for a month-long charity fundraiser where you can choose to host one of two exciting events: a community dog walk or a delicious bake sale with an assistance dog theme!
🚶♂️Option 1: Charity Dog Walk🚶♂️
Gather your furry friends and fellow dog lovers for a fun-filled stroll in support of the ADAA. Whether you're walking through parks, along scenic trails, or around your neighbourhood, every step you take will make a real difference in the lives of individuals in need. Register your walk, invite friends and family, and let's make tails wag for a cause! Feel free to make it fancy dress with a dog related theme if you would like!
We have prizes for the best dressed walkies!
🍰Option 2: Assistance Dog Bake Sale🍰
Indulge your sweet tooth and support a paw-some cause with our Assistance Dog themed Bake Sale or baking competition! Get creative in the kitchen and whip up treats inspired by our amazing assistance dog teams. From dog-shaped cookies to paw-print cupcakes, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Host your bake sale at a local venue, set up a stall in your community or even just at home for your family and friends!
Plus, there's a prize for the best cake!

Here's how to get started with our Pawprints for Purpose fundraiser in three simple steps!
1. Register your event
Register your event with us by emailing fundraising@theaddaa.org and we will get all of the details over to you including how to set up a just giving page and how to make your event a success!
2. Spread the word
Share your event with friends, family, and colleagues through social media, email, and word of mouth to maximize participation and fundraising efforts.
3. Have fun and Fundraise!
Whether you're walking with your four-legged friends or baking up a storm in the kitchen, remember that every effort counts. Collect donations, sell treats, and enjoy knowing that you're making a difference to the lives of those that the ADAA supports.

Who are the ADAA?
We are a charity dedicated to ensuring that individuals with disabilities have access to support if they have trained their own assistance dogs. Our commitment is rooted in the belief that everyone, regardless of how their assistance dog has been trained, deserves access to support and validation. Our mission is to foster inclusivity within the assistance dog sector and provide assistance to all who need it.
